I feel like time slips by, and I don’t even know where it goes. It’s October 20th already! Halloween is right around the corner! November 20th is coming soon!!

If you haven’t checked out Through the Silent Forst preorder options on my website, please do!

Being a first-time “real” published author is a lot harder than I expected. With the paper shortage and things out of wack, it’s thrown me for a little bit of a loop trying to navigate getting my book out there.

So as readers, please keep in mind that books (any books not just mine) might take longer to come in, printers are backed up and charging more, the price of everything is going up. So keep that in mind as you all start to shop for the holiday season.

Among my never-ending reading and writing list, I’ve also started up a new project.

I love reading and writing reviews for others, so my friend, Alex and I, made a page where we could help authors and readers come together with reviews and interviews.

We just launched the site yesterday, so it’s an up-and-coming work in progress. But if you’re interested in becoming a reader and reviewer or an author with your own book you’d like to submit, please check out our site.

I hope it helps everyone form a closer connection in the book community and help both authors and readers alike. To help promote the authors I’ve reviewed for, I will also be posting my reviews on the newest addition to my site Ashley’s Review Page.

Books offered through scripts and reviews will be free to readers in exchange for reviews, similar to the Tiktok November TBR take-over challenge. I had so much fun doing the one in June that I’m looking forward to being a reader and an author in this next one. My novella The Gorgon and The Stranger is available as one of the featured books. So if you like free books, check out the sign-up page for it here.

Wishing you all a fun and safe Halloween!
